Vision in Progress: Hapardes

To generate healing for Abraham's Children through art, faith and the basic root myths of the Middle East. The mystical talmudic story of the "Orchards", the esoteric journey to Paradise, will serve as a backbone for this “paratheatrical” ritual. The sacred voyage will include Arab and Jewish
mythical motifs, from the Zohar, ancient persian sacred poetry from the sufi poet: JellaladinRumi, among other sacred texts. Hapardes will integrate live ethnobeat & traditional Middle Eastern music, from Kawali Hip hop to Beduin Dub, ancient acoustics & beyond, circus techniques, chinese martial arts, and contemporary trance ritual, movement & dance.

We are planning to perform this event twice a month. For the period of creation of the space and rehearsals, Metatron needs a time frame of five months of intensive work.
